That’s why the Purdue Institute of Family Business, Avilla Area Chamber, SBA, Women’s Business Center, and NIIC are hosting a free workshop on October 12th to help business owners prepare for the unexpected.
The workshop will be held at NCPL-Avilla in the Terrace Room beginning at 5:30 PM. Business specialist Renee Wiatt from Purdue Institute of Family Business will be leading the workshop and providing valuable insight into how to create an efficient and effective contingency plan.
“Having a contingency plan prepared and ready to use is crucial for businesses so that no matter what happens, they can adapt quickly and keep moving forward efficiently and strongly,” says Kevin Kelly, Avilla Area Chamber Executive Director.
The workshop will also cover the importance of having a backup plan for any potential disruptions, such as natural disasters, power outages, or other unforeseen events.
