Recently, someone asked why our chamber sponsors town-wide garage sales. Not only is our community garage sale an opportunity for everyone to clear out their garages and closets, and for visitors to find amazing deals on items they’ve been looking for or never imagined they would find, but it’s also good for our town.
Our town-wide garage sale event is free for everyone in 46710 to post their sales, as we handle the advertising for you during this time. The sales that are held bring in visitors from nearby areas who will come and shop, discover fresh produce and handcrafted items from local makers and entrepreneurs of all ages, buy gas, and they will likely stop off at a local eatery to grab a snack or a meal.
The garage sale event is just one way that our chamber helps to promote our town and its assets, businesses, and residents, and at the same time, everyone who participates alongside us also helps to enhance local cash flow.
